The Adelaide branch of the AEVA held the first of our Annual Picnic and EV Display days in the Mitcham Reserve on the Old Belair Rd at Mitcham.

The weather was great (except for one shower just as we were preparing lunch) and approximately 50 members and visitors with their families enjoyed the BBQ lunch with salads donated by members.
This is a public park so many people came to ask questions, view the converted EVs and to sample our sausages !

We are planning to make this an annual event at an Adelaide parkland near you.

The marquees supplied by Instant Marquees were great shelter for our food kitchen area and even room for a few seats as well.
The Mitcham Reserve is a very nice family picnic area even though we weren't allowed to have the EVs on the lawn area or plug-in for charging.

Many were checking out the "Electron" Blade EV conversion supplied by John Lindsay and Simon Hackett.

wonderful ice creams - very nice, thank you Pinky's...

Marianne and Trevor's Daihatsu Charade converted EV was one of the many
converted EVs on display.

We had to park the the cars in Norman Walk as we were not allowed on the grass.
